Greggs to replace Subway at Collingwood Ave Petrol Station

Work has begun on transforming a former subway store in a Blackpool service station – into a Greggs outlet.

The Subway has GONE

Engineers have been installing new refrigerators at the Morrisons Daily store on Collingwood Avenue at the junction with Caunce Street since last week.

New fridges with doors have been installed – Subway stickers remain on the floor for now

Fridges with doors are being installed throughout the store in what appears to be an energy saving effort by management.

We first learned of the move when discovering the Subway had been completely removed from the shop on Monday and a black sheet was hung in place to prevent dust from demolition work from spreading into the rest of the shop.

The Morrisons Daily store and Esso Fuel remain unaffected whilst the works are carried out. The store has recently had a second costa express machine fitted by the door – both machines are the newer version of the Costa branded machines.
